Rare Origins
Some specialty coffees are more special than others.
If you're a coffee enthusiast you may have heard of "geishas" the most high-prized coffees out there today, therefore require a more special packaging than your day-to-day coffees.
My role in this project started from researching luxury packaging, from cosmetic to high-end alcohol, come up with a color palate that is muted in an elegant way but makes a statement nevertheless. I then worked with our packaging vendor to come up with a box that will ship flat and work for our production team got samples that are printed with the geometric pattern design I put together with different opacities and prepped the file for that.
Then moving on to the label, we went with our regular linen-textured paper but did foil-stamping and chose a slim shape that complements the squarish shape of the box.
